The Community Foundation of Northern Colorado hosts a competitive grant process twice annually to benefit charitable projects serving Northern Colorado. Local, volunteer fund committees review nonprofit applications and select grant recipients in their respective communities.

This month, the Berthoud, Estes Valley, Fort Collins, and Loveland Community Funds awarded 43 charitable organizations grants totaling $367,580.

“The Community Foundation is honored to support so many meaningful projects,” shared Director of Community Engagement and Communications, Claire Bouchard. “We were overwhelmed with the number of grant applications we received. There are a great many opportunities to make an impact in our Northern Colorado community, and we are pleased to play a small part through our community grantmaking.”

The Foundation thanks its many volunteer committee members for their thoughtful evaluation throughout the grant process, undoubtedly leading to positive impact.
