The NoCo Foundation strives to create positive impact within our communities through the vital support of our generous donors, nonprofit partners, and community members. By emphasizing the region’s most pressing issues identified in the Intersections Report, including housing, water, and mental health, we engage and educate donors, inspiring them to make impactful investments in key community issues.

We continue to reexamine how philanthropy can contribute to the health and well-being of Northern Colorado through our three buckets of work.

Grants

We create transformational community impact by inspiring philanthropy and engaging the region. We work as the confluence of ideas, impact, and solutions and seek to foster regional collaboration to create a more engaged, philanthropic, and visionary community.

Through grantmaking, we aim to drive impact focused on issues facing our growing communities, as defined in the Intersections Report. Grants are one of the many ways our donors and committees can help create a positive impact.

Scholarships

Higher education scholarships offered through the NoCo Foundation create impact in students’ lives as they embark on new journeys for a better future. Our scholarship program is a testament to the support of our generous donors and showcases their dedication to nurturing talent and fostering educational opportunities in tomorrow’s leaders.

We offer diverse scholarship opportunities that support unique endeavors and aspirations. If you are interested in learning more about how to start a scholarship in your or a loved one’s name, please contact our Development team at donorservices@nocofoundation.org.

Scholarship applications open each November, with awards announced the following February.

Community Champions

Community Champions are donors who make an annual gift to support the NoCo Foundation’s regional engagement work. This generous group of people includes fundholders, businesses, sponsors, and community members who believe that through collaboration, research, and engagement, our communities can continue to thrive.
