The Journey

Join a cohort of approximately 20 participants, ages 30 to 50, on an eight-session odyssey, spanning October to May. Through interactive half-day sessions, you’ll dive deep into the world of philanthropy, exploring:

  • The philanthropic landscape and local nonprofit ecosystem.
  • Grantmaking strategies, proposal evaluation, and industry trends.
  • Nonprofit operations, governance, and sustainability.
  • Advocacy, policy influence, and driving systemic change.
  • Innovative philanthropic tools like DAFs, foundations, and impact investing.
  • Insights from renowned local and national grantmakers.
  • Collaborative grantmaking and collective decision-making.
  • Development of your personal philanthropic legacy.

Classes begin in Fall each year.

About The Program

Program Fee: $1,000 including a tax-deductible $750 donation to fund collective grantmaking.

  • Application Deadline: August 15, 2024
  • Admission Decision: Mid-September
  • Class Begins: October 9, 2024
