Sometimes that means joining forces under one unified organization rather than operating separately. We celebrate the partnership between Crossroads Ministry of Estes Park and The Bridge of Estes, whose decision to come together will strengthen support and expand services for community members navigating cancer treatment.

At Crossroads Ministry of Estes Park, our mission has always been to walk alongside people who are navigating challenging seasons in life. For years, we’ve offered hope and practical support to our neighbors—but when it came to cancer care, we faced a difficult reality. The needs of cancer patients often extended beyond what we could provide, leading us to refer them to specialized agencies outside our community. The gap between our services and their needs felt insurmountable.
Until now.
This year, we are thrilled to share that The Bridge of Estes—an organization dedicated to connecting cancer patients with local wellness resources—has officially joined the Crossroads family of support services. What began in 2024 as a partnership through fiscal sponsorship has now grown into a shared mission to bring compassionate, comprehensive care closer to home. The alignment between these two organizations made it a natural choice to join forces and serve even more members of our community together.
Sometimes the best way to serve the community is to launch a new nonprofit to support specific needs. Other times, the most powerful step forward is to join forces—to collaborate, not duplicate—and to serve together under one mission. This is one of those moments.
The Bridge of Estes has accomplished incredible work in its first year, creating strong community connections, building a volunteer network, and developing vital programs that help cancer patients find the support they need right here in the Estes Valley. By coming together, we can strengthen and expand these efforts as part of Crossroads’ wraparound services for local residents.
This collaboration also reflects a growing truth in the nonprofit world; that innovation doesn’t always mean starting from scratch. Sometimes, it looks like rethinking how we work together—combining resources, expertise, and passion to serve more effectively. As needs in our community grow more complex, our responses must evolve too. Creative partnerships like this one are how we can adapt, stay nimble, and ensure that no one falls through the cracks.
Collaboration strengthens not only our community, but our organizations as well. The Bridge of Estes now gains valuable support and connection through Crossroads, while Crossroads expands its reach and impact by sharing resources and serving more clients.
We’re so excited for this next chapter of collaboration. Together, as one Crossroads family, we’re building bridges of hope, care, and innovation for our neighbors—so no one has to walk their journey alone.
