The process of providing all that is necessary for health growth, development, and physical, mental, and emotional conditions. Nourishment is one of the most basic, but important indicators of well-being on both an individual and regional scale.

Renewing
The process of rejuvenating, renewing vitality and energy, and creating ourselves, our relationships and our places anew. Continuing and bettering our communities through civic engagement, philanthropy, and volunteerism. Renewing involves a regenerative mindset in which we give, care for, and engage in our communities to help everyone achieve well-being.

Sheltering and Caring
Facilitating access to a place of stability and renewal that supports individuals in achieving personal growth and long-term well-being.
Priority Issues: Affordable housing, aging population, healthcare, childcare


Transacting
The process of exchanging goods, services, or information with the intention of fulfilling a particular need, desire, or objective.
Priority Issues: Workforce, rural economies, transportation
Much of the work in the Transacting Intersection is done by larger systems—like school districts and post-secondary entities in partnership with the nonprofit sector.
