About the scholarship

This Fort Collins High School Alumni Scholarship is available only to Fort Collins High School seniors with a 3.75 GPA or above.

Scholarship amount: $6,000
Number of awards: 2

Scholarship awards are one-time awards. The amounts awarded to a selected recipient may be used for tuition and fees. All scholarships will be paid directly to the recipient’s school and must be used for the upcoming academic year. Award disbursement is contingent upon the outside scholarship policies of a recipient’s college or university.

  • Be a Fort Collins High School senior
  • Have a 3.75 GPA or above
  • Participate in high school activities

About Fort Collins High School Alumni Scholarship Fund

The donors behind this scholarship fund, who graduated from FCHS over 50 years ago, share a profound desire to express their appreciation for their cherished school and the education they received there. Initiated in 1983 by the class of 1933, led by Stu Case, this fund symbolizes the collective gratitude of FCHS graduates who firmly believe that the bonds formed at the school endure throughout life – “once a Lambkin, always a Lambkin.”

The establishment of this scholarship reflects their investment in today’s youth, intending to foster a brighter and more prosperous future for the community. It embodies their commitment to ensuring that the values and connections developed at FCHS inspire and benefit future generations.

The 2024-2025 scholarship application cycle is now closed.

Thank you so much for choosing me as the recipient of the Fort Collins High School Alumni Scholarship. I feel very blessed to have received this generous scholarship and extremely excited to be able to start  this new chapter in my life. Thanks to your help, I will be able to study Biomedical Sciences at CSU with the hope of preparing for Med School to achieve my dream of becoming a doctor
