We are the kitchen table
Through our unique independent convener role, the NoCo Foundation has a deep understanding of the complex issues challenging our region. Thanks to our Community Champions, the Foundation is harnessing this opportunity to bring community leaders together to address Northern Colorado’s most pressing issues.
“We can be the kitchen table, convening decisionmakers to work towards important solutions for generational impact.” -Kristin Todd
Who are Community Champions?
Community Champions are donors who make an annual gift at any level to support the NoCo Foundation’s regional engagement work. They are the Foundation fundholders, businesses, sponsors, and community members who share our belief that through collaboration, Northern Colorado can continue to be one of the best places to live, raise a family, build a business, and retire.
Making More Impact Possible
Together with Community Champions, we made meaningful progress this year to strengthen Northern Colorado for the future:
Built capacity and leadership in the nonprofit sector through expanded support and training programs.

Launched NoCo Changemakers, guiding next generation philanthropists to understand various tools for giving, local community issues, and the nonprofit sector.

Informed action with data, using the NoCo Intersections report to spark engagement on growth-related challenges and launched a new engagement effort across the six northeastern counties that will result in a Northeastern Colorado Intersections report in 2026.
Stay tuned for updates on Intersections issue mapping and more opportunities to engage in the Northeastern Colorado process.

Advanced disaster recovery, distributing community-donated disaster funds to support watershed resilience and property restoration after the Cameron Peak and Alexander Mountain fires.
Built connection between regional leaders, continuing to convene the Regional Leaders Collaborative, with leaders of the four largest communities, and launching the Growing Communities Collaborative with leaders from eight smaller communities. Both efforts help strengthen the region through relationships and learning.
Northern Colorado Intersections Report
Northern Colorado Intersections — an initiative made possible with support from Community Champions — is Northern Colorado’s first-of-its-kind report of the key performance indicators affecting our region’s well-being. A cornerstone initiative of the NoCo Foundation, this report will serve as a catalyst for important community conversations. Check out the full report and more details here!
