Executive Team

Kristin Todd
President and CEO
Kristin leads the NoCo Foundation and guides our efforts as a service provider to philanthropists while helping to inspire impactful community projects. She is a lifelong proponent of philanthropy, and throughout her 29-year career, she’s experienced its ability to have a lasting – and meaningful – impact on communities. She previously served as executive vice president for the Daniels Fund, grew up in New Orleans (Geaux Saints), and earned her master’s degree in public administration from the University of Colorado. Her family relocated from Denver in 2021, and they have fallen in love with the beauty and magic of Northern Colorado.

John Chapdelaine
Director of the Eastern Colorado Office
John provides Foundation leadership to the Eastern Colorado office advisory board and visibility throughout the Eastern Plains. John served for 30 years with the State of Colorado, as a teacher, principal, prison-education director, and warden on the Eastern Plains. John lives in Haxtun and is passionate about the sense of community in Eastern Colorado.

Jordan Cook
Chief Financial Officer
Jordan leads the finance and accounting team at the Foundation, overseeing operations and handling risk mitigation. His expertise in corporate accounting and his background in audit and investments give Jordan a unique lens through which to serve the Foundation. He holds an active CPA license and is passionate about supporting the local nonprofit ecosystem. In his free time, Jordan enjoys traveling, running, and spending time with his wife and two kids.

James Hamilton
Director of Philanthropy
James serves the Foundation’s fund holders by leading the Foundation’s development and donor relations functions. He has nearly 20 years of direct development and consulting experience and has led multi-million dollar fundraising initiatives for health care, education, human service, and faith-based organizations. His expertise includes major gifts, campaign planning and management, foundation and corporate fundraising, leadership fundraising training, and volunteer management. James and his wife live in Fort Collins with their three kids.

Jodie Riesenberger
Director of Community Impact
Jodie leads the Foundation’s grantmaking, nonprofit support programs, community engagement initiatives, scholarship program, and communications. Jodie has spent her career creating impactful connections and engaging stakeholders around complex community issues at the local, national, and international levels. She brings a deep understanding of our community and a passion to help ensure all who live here have access to what they need to thrive. Jodie enjoys all that our community has to offer with her husband and two kids.
Staff

Catherine Bucholz
Philanthropic Advisor
Catherine manages the Community Champions giving program and supports individuals in establishing and customizing their giving plans. A Texas native, Catherine has enjoyed learning about Northern Colorado, meeting community-minded people, and helping them make meaningful impact through the work of the Community Foundation. Catherine provided development support at the Grand Canyon Conservancy in Flagstaff before moving to Fort Collins with her family in 2020. She stays busy hiking, skiing, and enjoying all the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer.

Sydney Clevenger, CPA
Controller
Sydney supports the finance team by overseeing daily accounting functions, preparing reports for stakeholders, and maintaining financial controls. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Colorado State University and holds an active CPA license. She is a Colorado native and loves to travel, bake, ride horses, and spend time with her husband and son.

Mary Ericson
Philanthropic Advisor
Mary helps individuals and businesses establish customized giving plans through the Foundation’s services. She is passionate about the nonprofit sector and has served as development director for two local human services nonprofits. Raised in Greeley, she received her master’s in public administration from the University of Colorado, bachelor’s in business administration from Colorado State, and remains a loyal CSU Ram. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time in the sunshine with her family.

Codi Farrar
Operations Officer
Codi oversees internal IT and HR operations. She also supports the President and the Foundation’s Board of Trustees. She holds a BA from Colorado State University and a MS in Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Denver. Codi enjoys concerts, traveling, and spending time with friends and family

Taylor Garske
Communications Officer
Taylor supports the communication efforts of the NoCo Foundation through storytelling, sharing inspiring updates on social media, and keeping our website up-to-date. She was born and raised in Fort Collins and treasures the Northern Colorado community. Taylor loves the outdoors and going on adventures with friends and family.

Scott Hapner
Philanthropic Advisor
Scott collaborates with clients to establish personalized strategies and customized giving plans to support their charitable initiatives and maximize their impact in the community. Scott brings with him a strong background in fundraising, nonprofit leadership, and a deep commitment to building lasting relationships in our Northern Colorado community. Scott is a dedicated husband to a PSD elementary teacher and proud father of a Poudre High School senior and sophomore. Together, the Hapner family enjoys skiing, camping and visiting National Parks.

Lyndsey Hertz
Philanthropic Advisor
Lyndsey supports the Foundation’s Fund Liaison Program, oversees learning opportunities for donors, and helps individuals create personalized giving plans. A Colorado native, she has spent several decades working in the Northern Colorado nonprofit sector, building meaningful relationships and helping donors support the causes they care about most. She recently earned her bachelor’s degree in marketing and is a proud lifelong learner. She enjoys lake days, time with family and friends, and cheering on the CSU Rams.

Francie Koehmstedt
Administrative Specialist
As the administrative specialist, Francie oversees the front desk at the Community Foundation, greeting visitors and staff everyday with a friendly smile. Francie also works with the Development and Philanthropic Services department with programming support and research. Francie and her husband Steve have been Fort Collins residents for 25 years. With her expansive administrative background, a trove of local knowledge, and a penchant for baking, Francie is certainly a great addition to the Foundation staff.

Carrie Miller
Donor Support and Grants Administrator
Carrie processes approximately 1,200 grants each year, helps fund advisors gain access to their charitable funds, and serves as a customer service contact for current and potential donors. Carrie is a Colorado native from Windsor. She worked at the National Association for Interpretation for ten years before joining the Foundation.

Zoe Parham
Program Officer
Zoe supports the Community Impact Department by leading grantmaking efforts and executing initiatives to strengthen the local nonprofit sector. She moved to Fort Collins in 2020 and is a graduate of the Impact MBA program at CSU. Zoe enjoys gardening, quilting, skiing, reading, and can often be found spending time with her gecko, chickens, and cats.

Jess Rahn
Staff Accountant
Jess supports the finance department by performing daily accounting functions for the NoCo Foundation. Jess has been working in the nonprofit sector since 2015 and is a graduate of the Impact MBA program at CSU. She loves to travel, cross stitch, cook, bake, and spend time with friends, family, and her dog, Otis.

Claire Bouchard
NoCo Foundation’s Engagement Consultant
Claire serves as the NoCo Foundation’s Engagement Consultant, leading several regional initiatives including the Regional Leaders Initiative, the Growing Communities Collaborative, the NoCO Water Alliance, and two Long Term Recovery Groups (fire recovery work groups). She also leads the NoCo Foundation’s 50th anniversary activities and engagement through 2025. With more than 20 years of community engagement experience in Northern Colorado, including several years at the NoCo Foundation, Claire is passionate about community well-being and the NoCo Foundation mission of bringing organizations together to address today’s most pressing challenges.
