On August 19, Kurt Spieler, insert photo senior managing director of investment management for First National Bank of Omaha, FNBO, presented information about current market conditions. He reviewed the impact these conditions have made on the Foundation’s investment pools and provided an expert outlook at what may come.
About Kurt Spieler
Kurt joined First National Bank in 2005 and has 30+ years of experience including the portfolio management of mutual funds in emerging markets, core international, and U.S. moderate allocation. He is responsible for developing and implementing investment strategies for the Wealth Management division at First National Bank. This includes leading the asset allocation, equity, fixed income, and manager research committees.
He holds the Charted Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Colorado. Kurt earned his bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University and his master’s degree from Drake University.
