Since 1975, the NoCo Foundation has proudly served our region by promoting local philanthropy.
In partnership with generous donors and dedicated volunteers, the NoCo Foundation is working to ensure a bright future for Northern Colorado. Members of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, and numerous committees represent the primary communities we serve — Berthoud, Estes Valley, Fort Collins, Loveland, and Eastern Colorado.
Each of these communities has a fund through the NoCo Foundation and recommends grants to support their specific community’s needs through the Board of Trustees. Explore these communities and learn more about their philanthropic work.
Regional approach to philanthropy
Pursuing regional impact can be complex. We like to break it down into three buckets: Philanthropic Services, Nonprofit Support, and Community Engagement. While the work in the first two buckets is focused on Larimer County and Eastern Colorado, the third focuses on Northern and Eastern Colorado, including Larimer and Weld County.
Philanthropic Services
- Build trusted relationships with donors to connect them with high impact community issues and opportunities
- Collaborate with Professional Advisors to create charitable strategies for client success
- Philanthropic “easy button”
Nonprofit Services
- Enable nonprofit sustainability through management of endowment
- Strengthen the sector for community well-being
- Build capacity through grants, loans, and trainings
Community Engagement
- Support regional partnerships to address most challenging issues
- Convene regional leaders for impact and solutions
- Lead the Northern Colorado Intersections initiative including research, outreach, and regional convening
Welcome to our Kitchen Table
The NoCo Foundation is the region’s independent convener. Our programs and initiatives are community focused to address today’s biggest challenges. Think of us as the region’s kitchen table. Our convenings provide a critical opportunity for community leaders to have important conversations and learn more about the challenges and opportunities we face as a region.
