The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees consisting of community leaders from throughout Northern Colorado. Please join us in welcoming three new, outstanding board members.

Jim Hendrix
Jim, who founded and serves as chairman of Progressive Agricultural Management in Wray, will represent Eastern Colorado on the board. His company produces organic grains and forages along with popcorn, which is exported internationally. It also produces the light red kidney beans used by the Popeyes restaurant chain. Jim serves on the boards of two other foundations as well as his local hospital board. Jim and his wife Twila established a Donor Advised fund with the Foundation in 2018.
Doreen MacDonald
Doreen was born and raised in Guyana, South America, and moved to England where she became both a registered nurse and a registered psychiatric nurse. She moved with her husband to Loveland over 40 years ago. For the last 10 years, Doreen has been very involved with the Loveland Community Kitchen where she has served on the board of directors and acted as a fundraiser.
Marla Trumper
Marla has been energetically supporting Northern Colorado for more than 25 years. She has served on community boards and has professionally managed health nonprofits. Since 2013, she has worked in Colorado State University’s advancement office and is currently director of presidential engagement for CSU. Marla treasures time with her family, who are located across the country – from the eastern plains of Colorado to Manhattan.
