Did you know that one of the benefits of working with the Community Foundation is that we can assist you in turning complex gifts, such as mineral rights, water rights, cell phone tower easements, vehicles, gold coins, etc. into charitable dollars? (Yes, these are all examples of assets that we’ve changed into funds that can be distributed to make an impact in the community!)

Of course, we can also take outright gifts like cash, appreciated securities, life insurance, as well as remainder gifts and life income plans. These options are a piece of cake. Because the Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity, gifts to any of our funds provide donors with the maximum tax deductions allowed by law.

This form of giving may be new to you. Have a unique gift in mind, or want to learn more? Reach out to your financial advisor and your Community Foundation philanthropy advisor, or read more about some common gift types here.
