Despite COVID-19 challenges, Animal Friends Alliance broke records in 2021 for total dogs adopted and cats helped through its Community Cat Program. The Alliance helped 1,132 dogs find loving homes in 2021. It also trapped a record 1,124 community cats; some were trapped, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and returned to their colonies and others adopted into loving homes. The Alliance will continue to grow in 2022 with construction of a new shelter,.
